A Few Questions We Hear Often
You may have questions before your cat stays with us. Here are some of the things people ask most often.
Where is BCC Cat Hotel?
Our main cat hotel is at Jadi Village, Tabanan, Bali.
We also have BCC At Home in Kamasan, a more personal environment for cats who need additional care, medication, or individual attention.
What is the difference between Jadi Village and Kamasan?
Jadi Village is our regular cat hotel for everyday boarding.
Kamasan is a more personal environment for cats who need extra care, medication, or individual attention.
Do cats have a fixed amount of time outside their rooms?
No.
There is no fixed schedule. It depends on the individual cat, their comfort, behaviour, and the situation.
We let the cat's condition guide what happens rather than following a schedule simply because it is the schedule.
Do you interact with cats a lot?
Human interaction is minimal and controlled.
We focus on observing what the cat needs rather than interacting simply because we can.
How do you know if my cat is doing well?
We observe the cat's normal patterns and look for meaningful changes.
This includes things such as behaviour, eating, drinking, litter use, activity, and overall condition.
Understanding what is normal for an individual cat is an important part of this.
What is the 3-3-3 rule?
The 3-3-3 rule is a simple framework for understanding how a cat may adjust to a new environment.
Roughly:
3 days → adjustment
3 weeks → routine
3 months → deeper familiarity
Every cat is different, so it is a framework rather than a strict timetable.
Is grooming available to everyone?
Currently, grooming is available for BCC hotel guests.
What does grooming focus on?
Health, hygiene, and comfort rather than beauty.
How much is grooming?
Rp160,000 for grooming / bath.
Can BCC transport my cat?
Yes.
We provide transport connected with hotel stays and can arrange cat transport around Bali.
For national and international journeys, we work with partner agents where additional arrangements are required.
Can you help with international transport?
Yes.
BCC has been involved with cats travelling to the Philippines, United States, United Kingdom, and France, working with appropriate partners.
The requirements and costs depend on the particular journey.
How much is transport?
Our general transport rate is Rp12,000/km.
Additional charges may apply depending on handling, duration, or other requirements of the journey.
For longer or international journeys, the final cost depends on what the journey requires.
Can my cat stay for a long time?
Yes.
BCC has cared for cats staying for months and years, including cats who eventually became permanent residents.
Can a cat become a permanent resident?
In appropriate circumstances, yes.
Some cats have stayed permanently because their families could no longer provide suitable care at home.
Each situation is different, so we look at what is best for the cat and what circumstances require.
Still have a question?
That's okay.
Not every cat fits neatly into an FAQ.
If you're unsure whether BCC is suitable for your cat, tell us about your cat and your situation.
We'll help you work out what might be needed.
